Lehara

Full branding package

Lehara is a project close to my heart. When Lisa came to me with her idea I just had to be involved. We ended up seeing this charity through from idea to fruition, working on the name, the strategy, the brand look-and-feel, and the website.

Following our work together, they are the first in the area to offer online booking for sports massage, and have treated more the 275 trekkers in their first season. Donations raised for local community projects have exceeded £3,000.

Lehara supports communities in high-altitude areas of tourism. Their journey began in Nepal at the foot of mighty Mount Everest. They trained locals as Sports Massage therapists, giving them safe income by treating trekkers, and in turn the profits going towards local community projects. A charity that benefits all involved, with a sustainable process that can be repeated in many other areas of the world.

INSIGHT SESSION AND NAMING

In our first meeting (insight session), we discussed everything about Lisa’s vision for Lehara. What she wanted for the company, how it would work, and what sort of look-and-feel it should have, as well as the name. After soaking up all there was to know and gaining an understanding of Lisa and her love for the Nepalese community, I produced a strategy to direct how to tackle the branding, as well as ideas for the name.

Lehara was born. Which is Nepali for ‘ripple’, and Hindi for ‘lift’.

“Working with Lucy has been a transformational game-changer for Lehara. From the moment we engaged her services, we knew we were in the most capable and professional hands. Lucy’s approach was refreshingly collaborative, and she took the time to truly understand our goals, values and target audience.”

“If you’re looking to elevate your brand and make a lasting impact, as well as want to work with someone who is an absolute pleasure to work with, I wholeheartedly recommend Lucy Cooper from Nurtur.”
